Three notorious criminals were arrested by the Bally police station under Howrah Police Commissionerate for assaulting and intimidating a family in a land dispute.
The Howrah Police Commissionerate stated on Tuesday that a written complaint was lodged on April 25th by a person who claimed that notorious criminal Ramesh Mahato and his associates beat him up, tried to snatch his phone, and threatened to kill him.
After a continuous search, the police have arrested Ramesh Mahato, Rajesh Mahato, and Suman Das, who are residents of Nischinda Thana area of Howrah. The police are interrogating the arrested criminals to gather information about their other accomplices.
According to sources, these criminals formed groups to threaten and grab land.
